He's interacted with it by using it as a bracelet, holding it one-handed and two-handed, shaking the rattle, playing with the individual rings, and chomping on it now that's he's starting teething. It's a great way to support a hand eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills, and self soothing. It's easy to wash and has been great to entertain him during walks.
