Rated 2 out of 5 by from LOVE IT... but.... We got this cute little hoop/ball set as a gift for our son and love it. The suction is great on the hoop and he played with it endlessly. Only problem... the balls grew mold quickly. I am relatively diligent about squeezing water our of squeeze toys at the end of bath time, but yet there is mold. You can see it through all three of the balls. Can't say enough about the hoop though! Just on the hunt for replacement balls :)

Is there any way I can purchase a ball or two for the basketball bath toy? I purchased one at Goodwill for my grandson ( due in June ) and it's missing the balls I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. Thank you

Is this item free from bpa and pvc as well? Thank you!

We regularly test children’s and child-care products for lead and phthalates, the principal culprits in PVC. Accordingly, these product hangtags are marked “Phthalate-free.”* We do not use polycarbonate, so BPA is not a concern for us. Therefore, the Zoo Bathtime Basketball is a safe toy for children and you should feel confident that we have specifically tested for this issue.

I want to get this for my grandson. I see that the suggested age is 12 mos+. How small are the basketballs if they can fit in little hands. I am concerned about the possibility of choking. Things can happen in the blink of an eye with little ones.
