Supports the Sales and Marketing team by collaborating with all sales and marketing business units, customer service, design and finance to gather, analyze and process critical business data to enable consistent and effective, fact-based reporting, forecasting and decision making.
Part of this exciting position will require troubleshooting to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and service from manufacturer to delivery abroad. The candidate will play a vital role in supporting the rapid growth of our international business and support the international account manager in day-to-day activities. The candidate will gain valuable exposure to international business development, strategy, marketing, pricing, operations, logistics and corporate finance.
- Communicates consistently with customers and internal departments to clarify details regarding forecasting and other requests
- Prepares forecasts, project charts, goals and objectives, in-house reports, and written and verbal correspondence to customers, distributors and vendors
- Regularly provides support and progress reports to department team members to ensure projects and duties are on schedule, including Sales review document updates.
- Processes all approved international orders into the Order Entry Manager and maintain communication between warehouse & distributor regarding pending orders.
- Follows up to make sure all documentation is provided to with all paperwork to ensure proper importation, including set up for customs
- Provides detailed departmental sales analytic support through sales and distributor analysis, business review support, inventory analysis and monthly account write-ups.
- Answers and distributes all international email inquiries internally and to all distributors
- Monitors all distributors' accounts and regularly communicate with accounts receivable including processing credit memos.
- Attends weekly Inventory Meeting and update on International Business.
- Coordinates and maintains marketing items and act as a liaison for marketing department and graphic artists
- Provide regulatory support, and customize documentation from compliance as needed by distributors
- Coordinates with product development and maintains product launches, coordinating timelines and sending production samples
- Create departmental PowerPoint slides for internal and external presentations including quarterly international updates for all distributors- creating "launch packages"
- Conducts analysis to determine international sales performance and product order/reorder trends.
- Analyzes product sales performance based on geographical area. Highlight discovered sales trends, identify opportunities and derive conclusions.
- Prepares a wide variety of reports, including charts and graphs, and presents recommendations to management.
- Creates and processes expense reports for International Business Manager and International Product Manager.
- Assists in International trade shows and coordinates International Business travel – international and domestic , including coordination of flights, hotel, printing of training and meeting materials, etc
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years experience in an analytical role; or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Knowledge of the global landscapes and markets a prerequisite.
