POSITION OVERVIEW:


Skip Hop is seeking a highly motivated, ambitious, and analytical Babies R Us Sales Planner, reporting to the VP of Planning and Supply Chain. This position is a customer facing role, and will manage forecasting and inventory needs for a strategic Key Account, critical to delivering profitable sales growth for a rapidly growing Consumer Goods Company. Candidate should be entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, have a tenacious work ethic, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The Babies R Us Sales Planner will be responsible for forecasting and managing the sales plan for Babies R Us, in addition to executing inventory allocations against sales orders, ensuring inventory is used efficiently to support the company’s sales growth plans.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Analyze sell-in and sell-through data to provide insight on potential sales opportunities and risk.
  • Develop and generate the 15-month Sales Forecast for Babies R Us.
  • Collaborate with the Babies R Us buyers to manage assortment changes, customer Inventory On-Hands, and changes to sales orders.
  • Collaborate with Skip Hop Planning and Operations teams to manage Customer order flows with inventory availability.
  • Collaborate with Skip Hop Planning and Sales teams to translate future promotional activity, New Product sets and in-store programs, to volume plans.
  • Support the Skip Hop Domestic Inventory Planner by analyzing and identifying future availability or excess risks due to immediate retail order impacts.
  • Implement and execute critical Retail KPIs and analyze Product Performance at Retail for Babies R Us.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor’s degree from 4-year accredited college or university in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Demand Planning or Retail Planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods and/or Children’s/Baby industry preferred.
  • Background in Operations, Industrial Engineering, or Mathematics is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a strong sense of urgency to solve multiple and critical issues.
  • Demonstrate good judgment in escalating potential risks proactively.
  • The ability to communicate and present complex information through data, clearly and concisely, across all levels of management.
  • High energy, team player with strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills are required, specifically within MS Excel to include complex formulas, v-look ups, pivot tables, and graphing.
  • Proficiency with Word and PowerPoint is beneficial.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP or similar ERP/Planning systems is ideal.

Our growing Product Development team is looking for a Technical Designer who is passionate about products and gaining a deeper understanding of what goes into bringing a product to life from conception to the finished product. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • • Creates spec files in Adobe Illustrator including construction callouts, dimensions, and sketches.
  • • Advises design team on existing or alternate materials at different Vendors.
  • • Builds BOMs (bills of materials) for all new products.
  • • Analyzes completed BOMs from vendor for cost issues.
  • • Estimates costs for new products and/or features based on existing BOM data.
  • • Reviews development and production samples and issues comments to factories.
  • • Identifies potential manufacturing, material, and cost issues for products in development.
  • • Maintains material library.
  • • Assist with other projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, accessory design, industrial design, or related field.

POSITION OVERVIEW:


Skip Hop is seeking a Category Director to develop and execute the category's product strategy and drive the brand to achieve its strategic objectives. The Category Director will identify opportunities and then partner closely with cross-functional team members to develop product that reflects Skip Hop’s overall key strategies and deliver a compelling product assortment that drives the brands growth. The ideal candidate must fully understand the competitive landscape and is a proven leader, with an entrepreneurial spirit.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Leads strategy across teams for a single category and owns driving sales, margin, turn and growth for total company across both frontline and digital channels for a defined area of responsibility.
  • Partner with Planning to develop pre-season strategies and assortment architecture for omni-channel business.
  • Identify growth opportunities in product categories. Work with Planners to analyze past performance and identify emerging trends and opportunities to incorporate recommendations into strategies.
  • Manage assortment building and management including assortment selection and assortment driving strategies.
  • Set pricing strategy.
  • Provide direction, mentoring and feedback to Jr. team members.
  • Ensure that brand strategy and direction leads the industry.
  • Develop and maintains an understanding of the global market needs while developing and owning SKU efficiency globally to meet growth goals.
  • Follow the product through the development timeline to assure it is on track to achieve targets and goals for each brief.
