Customer Service Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:


Skip Hop is seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager that will take the lead in providing a positive and satisfactory experience to our customers. This person will provide guidance to the customer service team in providing excellent service and support to our customers to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, retention, and that their expectations are met. The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly-organized individual who is self-motivated, has excellent communication skills, and can work both independently and collaboratively as needed.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Improve the customer service experience, create engaged customers, and facilitate organic growth.
  • Take ownership of customer’s issues to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner while maintaining communication with customer throughout process; ensure the back-end process is complete on Web Platform and ERP.
  • Define a clear mission and execute strategies that bring that mission to life.
  • Develop service policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Keep accurate records, including documented customer service actions and discussions, via Desk.com.
  • Analyze statistics and compile accurate reports as needed.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop customer service agents by creating an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment.
  • Keep ahead of industry’s development and apply best practices to areas that need improvement.
  • Attend all new product instructional meetings; communicate pertinent information regarding our products and their functions to the team for assisting with customer inquiries.
  • Maintain an orderly workflow per departmental priorities; being able to work with changes as they occur.
  • Create transparency in customer service department allowing management to understand backlogs and assist as needed.
  • Submit weekly KPI reports as required by management.
  • Submit weekly Salesman reports regarding Specialty Customer Service.
  • Complete other ad hoc tasks and/or projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • 2+ years’ experience as a Customer Service Manager or a similar role.
  • 4+ years’ experience in providing excellent customer service support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of customer service software, databases, and tools required.
  • Experience with Operational processes required.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide leadership to others.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
  • Customer Service orientation.

You will be responsible for everything from trend and market research to concept and spec drawings for bags and accessories. You will be working with our Asia office and factories, approving materials and construction, with the goal of delivering collections on time and on budget. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage major projects and collections, supervising junior designers and freelancers as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW:


Skip Hop is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic packaging designer to join our growing company. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Our packaging designer will be responsible for the development and design for all new packaging as well as updates on existing packaging across 8 product categories. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can think creatively, and is highly collaborative. Must be meticulous and pay significant attention to detail.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Concept and design packaging for all Skip Hop products across 8 categories.
  • Incorporate design direction and feedback from multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming for new product packaging.
  • Ability to articulate, critique, and communicate design strategy and rationale to stakeholders.
  • Develop and strengthen brand assets, including packaging style and usage guides.
  • Help maintain digital assets library of all packaging files, enabling the team to be self-serve, share, and collaborate with each other.
  • Constantly raise the bar for quality and excellence in creative design.
  • Reports directly to Creative Director.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in packaging design.
  • Mastery of the Adobe Creative suite – specifically Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Well-versed in best practices for print and packaging.
  • High energy, team player with strong time and project management skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must possess an unflappable personality: Ability to tackle multiple projects while staying organized and keeping your cool in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to gracefully defend your design decisions.

  • Upload product/marketing content on digital eComm platforms.
  • Manage inventory of marketing samples and supplies.
  • Track marketing spend through invoices with team and provide regular reporting.
  • Support team for trade show and consumer events execution-pack and shipping of products.
  • Support team for PR programs-manage sample and press request, organize press placements, research award usage, track celebrity Pinterest board.
  • Keep track of charitable contributions with key partners.
  • Assist with event preparation for national consumer events (sending samples, prizes, manage tracking information, etc.).
  • Upload assets to Percolate platform as needed.
  • Assist with other marketing projects as assigned.
  • Assist with miscellaneous administration tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:
